  13. To view Readme.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.
  14.  
  15. To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor, 
  16. then use the Print command on the File menu.

  20. LIST OF WINDOWS 95 README FILES
  21. ===============================
  22. In addition to Readme.txt, Windows 95 provides the following readme 
  23. files:
  24.     
  25.     Config.txt    Contains syntax information for commands you use
  26.                         with your Config.sys file.
  27.  
  28.     Display.txt    Provides information about how to configure 
  29.             and correct problems for available drivers 
  30.             and how to obtain additional display drivers. 
  31.  
  32.     Exchange.txt    Provides information to help you set up and 
  33.             run Windows Messaging.
  34.  
  35.     Extra.txt    Provides information about where to find 
  36.             additional Windows 95 files, such as updates 
  37.             and drivers, in addition to files available 
  38.             only in the CD-ROM version of Windows 95.

  40.     Faq.txt        Answers frequently asked questions about 
  41.             Windows 95.
  42.  
  43.     General.txt    Provides information about startup problems, 
  44.             the programs that come with Windows 95, disk 
  45.             tools, disks and CDs, drivers, removable media,
  46.             Microsoft FAX, and pen services.
  47.  
  48.             This file also contains last-minute information 
  49.             received too late to include in the other readme 
  50.             files. For example, if you have a question about 
  51.             a printer, it would be helpful to look in 
  52.             General.txt as well as in Printers.txt.

  54.     Hardware.txt    Provides information about known problems and 
  55.             workarounds for hardware. You may also need
  56.             to refer to Printers.txt or Mouse.txt for
  57.             specific problems.

  59.     Infrared.txt  Contains information about installing and 
  60.             troubleshooting infrared services on your 
  61.             computer.

  63.     Internet.txt    Provides information to help you connect to
  64.             the Internet if you haven't done so already.
  65.             Also provides information about where to 
  66.             download Microsoft's new Web browser, 
  67.             Internet Explorer.

  69.     Mailnews.txt    Provides information to help you install, 
  70.             configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 
  71.             Internet Mail and News.

  73.     Mouse.txt    Provides information about known problems 
  74.             and workarounds specifically for mouse and 
  75.             keyboard problems.

  77.     Msdosdrv.txt    Contains syntax information for MS-DOS 
  78.             device drivers. For additional help on MS-DOS 
  79.             commands, see Config.txt. You can also use 
  80.             command-line help at the command prompt by 
  81.             typing /? following the command name.

  84.             The Microsoft Network.
